Mail Forwarding

It is recommended that you either check your ithryn mail regularly, or have it forwarded to a different email address. By default, users are only signed up to the ithryn-users mailing list, which is only a couple messages a month (major upgrades, new features of general interest, downtime).

Shell (SSH) access is currently required to set up forwarding. If you do not have a shell account, but wish to set up mail forwarding, contact the admin list.

Forwarding all mail to another address

To forward all your ithryn mail to another address, say <you@gmail.com>, create the file .forward in your home directory with the following contents:

you@gmail.com

Keeping a local copy

In this example, mail to <you@ithryn.net> will also be kept, but also forwarded to <you@gmail.com>. Create a .forward file as above, with the contents:

you@gmail.com, \you
